Welcome to my website. I am a fiction writer new to the genre. I have been writing and public speaking, including storytelling, for many years. I have reached a stage in my life where I now have the time to do some writing and I enjoy storytelling. I hope you enjoy my stories.
I was brought up in and around Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire, a place dear to my heart. It is a place to which I have always returned. I now live in a small village on western side of the East Riding in the Lower Derwent Valley. It is a beautiful spot.
I share my home with my wife and two large dogs. Having dogs means that I walk in the countryside a great deal, which I love.
I work part-time as the Vicar of four villages with three churches. My patch spans the boundary across the River Derwent into North Yorkshire.
I have lived and worked in various parts of the UK including London and the South East, County Durham, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.
I have been an ordained priest in the Church of England for just over 30 years. I have been a parish priest in a city centre church, in an urban parish in one of the most deprived parts of the UK. I now work in rural parishes. I also spent some time as Chief Executive of a charity. Before I was ordained I worked in the bus industry.
